Ardent Mills Restarts Alton Flour Mill After Flooding

CHICAGO –  The largest U.S. flour miller, Ardent Mills, has resumed operations in Alton as floodwaters along the Mississippi River receded while a mill in Chester will remain down for weeks, company executives said on Tuesday.

Ardent Mills is operated jointly by Cargill Inc., ConAgra Foods Inc. and CHS Inc.
