After every ABA Convention, we sit down to conduct a complete debrief on what worked, what didn’t and what we should do to add more value to the baking industry. We pour through the post-Convention survey work and feedback. I hope you will agree that the attention to detail we give to the feedback truly results in the premier annual event for the baking industry.
If you recall from last year’s Convention, we tried to answer the question of what was going through the consumer’s mind with regard to the baking category. The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive in terms of substance and execution, and when asked for suggestions for this year’s program, the answer was a resounding: “more consumer insight at a deeper level”.
With that as our charge, we strategized and planned earlier than ever. The result is one of the deepest dives into the baking category ever. At the core of the program are two unprecedented panels designed to provide sharp insight on consumers’ attitudes and especially their behaviors in the marketplace.
