ABA along with several other organizations recently sent a letter to HHS and USDA requesting a 120-day extension for response to the Dietary Guideline Advisory Committee Report. Wednesday at the House Appropriations Committee hearing, Chairman Aderholt reinforced the need for additional time to review and comment on the complex report that is over 500 pages long. Currently, the comments are due April 8.
