ABA worked with members of the U.S. Senate to weigh in and encourage FDA to not finalize their determination until they have reviewed the pending food additive petition that is expected to be filed with FDA later this week, as well as the Agency defining partially hydrogenated oil and allowance for a reasonable reformulation transition time.
