FLINT, Michigan — Michigan Warriors coach Moe Mantha, several players and staff members will be on hand Wednesday at Bentley Florist in Burton to take part in the establishment's 16th annual Good Neighbor Day.
The promotion begins at 9 a.m. and will see Bentley Florist, 1270 Belsay Road, give away 2,500 dozen roses free of charge. In the spirit of Good Neighbor Day, owner Steve Welch asks that everyone who receives a dozen roses keep one for themselves and give the other 11 away.
The Warriors begin practicing for their inagural season next Monday at Perani Arena, where they'll play their home opener Sept. 24 vs. the Springfield Jr. Blues.
