Target Corp. said Tuesday it has redesigned four of its Denver-area stores and one in Greeley as part of an ongoing national effort, increasing fresh-food selections in their grocery departments.
The store "reinventions" are intended "to further deliver one-stop shopping convenience for guests," the Minneapolis-based big-box retailer (NYSE: TGT) said in a statement.
The redesigns include new layouts in several store departments, including beauty, home, shoes and electronics.
In the reconfigured grocery departments, Target said it will now offer "90 percent of the [product] categories found in a [stand-alone] grocery store, interactive displays and wider aisles to make guests shopping experience easier and more enjoyable."
