Talinga Grove olives was named the winner of the first National Table Olive Competition at Bendigo, Victoria, in March this year.
The business claimed a gold medal for the best Kalamata olives in Australia and won the best-in-show category, making their olives the best of any variety in Australia.
It was a huge triumph for the family, which have run Talinga Grove for the past year.
"There had always been State olive awards but this year was the first time for a National Table Olive Award," Paul said.
"Like wine, the olives are given gold, silver or bronze medals based on the points awarded."
