In the first six months of 2010 floral wholesale distributors, as a group, were down 3.4% in sales according to the WF&FSA Benchmarks Report. Operating expenses were up only 1%. Gross margins were nearly unchanged. The "sales per employee" was $210,464 which is down nearly 4.5% from a year ago.
