SAF reported this week that overall retail florists haven't moved the increased marketing efforts in the last six months. Just a little more than half (54%) the florists increased their marketing, 11% "significantly" in the second quarter, according to SAF's Economic Outlook Survey. The survey was e-mailed in May.
The efforts of just more than a quarter stayed the same (27%), and 19% decreased their efforts. While individual florists may have changed their marketing volume, the overall output in each category remained the same as the results from the first quarter.
