ANGOLA, Ind. – Scott and Rebecca Meyers, owners of Heavenly Breads & Sweets, in Angola, have broken ground in cooperation with their landlord, Caruso’s Enterprises, Inc., for a build-out addition to help them accommodate the growing commercial side of their business.
The new 400-square-foot addition will increase the size of the bakery to 1,700 square feet and allow the Meyers to add a larger commercial oven and proof box for baking more bread for their wholesale customers.
The build-out addition, which is projected for completion around Labor Day, will also result in the hiring of one or two new employees for Heavenly Breads & Sweets, according to the Meyers, who currently employ one part-time and two full-time workers to assist them with the business.
