Ami’s Squeeze Z Hummus is the brainchild of the energetic Israeli entrepreneur, Ami Blashkovsky. Ami is from the desert town of Beersheva. Being raised under the influence of his mother and 4 aunts, Ami always loved cooking and most importantly, eating his mother’s homemade hummus.
Shortly after serving in the Israeli Army during the War in Lebanon, his beloved father, an orphan Holocaust survivor, passed away. Ami pursued his father’s dying wish to move to New York to pursue the American dream while carrying on the family name. Ami got married and had two beautiful sons, raising them in Marlboro, NJ.
