Bancroft, Wis.; July 12, 2010 – Colorado offices mark the latest expansion efforts of RPE. Effective July 12, RPE-Colorado will open its doors for business in Monte Vista, Colo.
RPE-Colorado will be staffed by potato industry veterans Shannon and Shawna Casey. Shannon will oversee sales and Shawna will handle customer support. All invoicing and billing will be handled by RPE headquarters in Bancroft, Wis.
Like all RPE offices, RPE-Colorado will offer all RPE products including Tasteful Selections. In addition to RPE’s full line, RPE-Colorado will be the sales agent for Hi-Land Potato Co. which specializes in Colorado russets and specialties, and will also represent other Colorado growers.
Over the past 12 months, RPE has experienced unprecedented growth with new offices in Minnesota, Illinois, Idaho and Georgia, and recently launched its joint-venture Tasteful Selections, featuring small specialty potatoes, with two other companies.
Russell Wysocki, President of RPE commented, “Our growth is a product of our long-term strategic plan. We have made a conscious effort to expand our position as a category leader and it is important to us to not only be close to our customers, but also close to our products. Our new Colorado office allows both.”
