Miami — Today, Gems Group and Járdines de los Andes announced a new equity partnership.
“This is an exciting move to formalize our strong relationship as ‘grower’ and ‘marketer’, and one that we feel is ideally set for the age before us,” said Carlos Oramas, CEO at Gems Group.

As part of the new agreement, Mr. Oramas will remain as majority partner and continue to lead the Miami-based company.
Founded in 1969 by Bernardo and Camilo Herrera, Járdines de los Andes is a leading and award-winning cut-flower grower with over 40 different crops and nearly 400 varieties. The company continues to be family owned and now run by the second generation of Herreras.
Founded in 2003 by Bonnie Armellini and Carlos Oramas, Gems Group is a marketer of consumer-packaged flowers. The company partners with leading North American retailers and offers a custom line of floral products designed for everyday American life.
