Tops Friendly Markets Promotes Doug Stoll & Ken Brown

Williamsville, N.Y. –Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in New York, northern Pennsylvania, and Vermont, is pleased to announce the promotion of both Doug Stoll and Ken Brown.

Doug Stoll will now take on the role of manager, retail pricing & analytics. Prior to his promotion, Doug was Tops Nielsen in-house client manager for the past six years. Doug is a graduate of Medaille College and also has an MBA as part of The State University at Buffalo’s Executive program. He currently teaches an organizational behavior class at the Jacobs School of Management at UB and is a faculty sponsor of the UB Undergraduate Consulting Club. Doug also served in the US Navy and is still a committee member for employee support of the Guard and Reserve. He is a resident of East Amherst, NY where he lives with his family.

Ken Brown has been promoted to the position of manager of food safety. In his new role Ken will be responsible for the daily management of all aspects of food safety, inspections, and regulartory operations. Ken has been a member of the Tops team since 1995 working various capacities including accounting and food safety. He holds a degree in accounting from Erie Community College. Ken is also an EMT with Boston EMS and belong to C.A.S.A. (Central Atlantic States of Food and Drug Officials) where he oversees the organizations accounting. He and his family are residents of Hamburg, NY. ###
