Mississauga, ON: Fresh Plate has announced the roll out of its retail ready fresh meal kit program designed to help time-strapped consumers prepare highquality and nutritious meals in under 10 minutes. Targeted at the consumer who is looking for an easy-to-prepare restaurant quality meal, without requiring advanced culinary skills and with easy to follow recipes, fast meal prep times, and one-pan clean up.
All the ingredients in the meal kits are perfectly portioned to feed two people. Fresh pre-cut produce, premium sauces, pasta or rice based starch and tender choice proteins. The Fresh Plate meal kits serve up a consistent and unique meal experience every time. Proteins and starches are treated to the sous-vide method of pre-cooking – a method commonly used by top restaurant chefs – to ensure that our kits always result in food that is evenly cooked as well as being juicy, moist and tender.
For retailers, the Fresh Plate meal kits will enable them to target and reach new audiences that are new to the meal kit experience. The in-store meal kit program will offer retailers the flexibility to experiment with different meal components and options to keep their consumers coming back for more.
