Iowa's first Fareway Meat Market will open at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Ames.
The market, a spinoff of Boone-based Fareway Stores Inc., will offer a fresh meat counter, seafood, sushi, artisan cheeses, wine, craft beer, and other items. The company operates two full-service grocery stores in Ames.
The 5,000-square-foot meat market is at 3720 Lincoln Way in Ames, formerly the location of Wallaby’s and Sports Page.
