Erik Lawser Appointed RFA’s Executive Director

Erik Lawser, CAE, has been appointed as the Refrigerated Foods Association's new Executive Director. Erik comes to the RFA with extensive association management experience from working with the Wood Component Manufacturers Association (WCMA) over the past six years. The WCMA represents 150 manufacturers of dimension and wood component products for the cabinet, furniture, moulding & millwork, flooring, building products and related decorative wood products industries. While working for the WCMA, Erik earned his Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), increased membership levels to all-time highs, and implemented marketing and promotion programs among many other accomplishments. He was raised in Atlanta and is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree.

As the new Executive Director, Erik will be responsible for leading the RFA in alignment with its mission, goals, and objectives, managing the day to day operations, and developing member services to enhance the value of RFA membership. He will also be actively involved in planning and executing the RFA's Conferences & Symposiums as well as marketing and promoting the RFA, its members, and the refrigerated foods industry as a whole.
