The battle over where you buy food is about to intensify.
The Milwaukee-based Roundy's division of The Kroger Co. says it is cutting prices "on thousands of items" at all of its Pick 'n Save, Metro Market and Copps stores in Wisconsin.
“We are making a major investment in lower prices across the state," James Hyland, Roundy's spokesman, said in a statement.
Signage is already up at stores announcing that the chain is lowering prices.
