Headquartered in Latham, New York, the company was founded on August 8, 1988 by Edward Seagroatt, James Riccardi, Peter Bilicki, and Thomas Ryan, and has evolved into an international corporation made up of four divisions with more than 100 employees.
Seagroatt Riccardi is an importer and distributor of floral products to wholesalers, retail florists, mass markets, and event-planners in five states. The flowers are received daily into their Latham distribution center from growers worldwide including the Columbia, Ecuador, Canada, California, Florida, Costa Rica, South Africa, Australia and many local providers.
From the start, Seagroatt Riccardi's focus has been on a belief in excellence through service and innovation. The company's real-time inventory control system, the only one of its kind in the industry, was custom designed with the express purpose of expediting the delivery of floral products from their sources to their customers.
