Cake-Baking Boom Means Sweet Success In Upstate S.C.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. — More than a dozen new jobs will be just the icing on the cake for the latest baking company that will soon do business in the Upstate.
Caroline’s Cakes will move into an empty building along Beaumont Avenue in Spartanburg County, and it will create at least 14 new jobs.
The Annapolis, Md.-based company expects to begin baking and shipping from the new Upstate location in June.
