Global Ripening, one of the world’s most accomplished Design-Build constructors of pressurized ripening rooms and precoolers, today announced major innovations in ripening room design and benefits.
According to Jim Still, Global’s President and CVO, “We are very proud of the innovations we have previously brought to worldwide ripening room designs and best-practices, and are even more proud of these latest advancements.”
Global announced availability of “Controlled Atmosphere Ripening”, which dramatically reduces the amount of ethylene used to ripen fruit. “I like to say, ‘stop turning your entire warehouse into one big ripening room,’” Still explained.
