Tyson Food Service has introduced new Tyson Deli Slices meats to address the growing demand for sandwiches on the menus of restaurants.
Tyson executives said these pre-sliced products offer a high-yield product with less waste –thus, reducing costs. Three quality tiers of turkey, ham and beef deli meats provide a quality sandwich base ready for customization by the operator or customer, according to Tyson Food Service.
Since slicing these meats is not required, operators can spend more time creating signature dishes and expanding their menu offerings. Quality ingredients are used to deliver a lean and gluten-free product. Tyson Foods’ food-safety model and use of natural antimicrobials offer a safe quality product with a cleaner label, the company said.
