A Montreal company is moving across the border and into the old Imperial Mill in Plattsburgh.
Jeannette Rawitt and her family are baking homemade Flats and Twiggs, which are like breadsticks. They're supplying restaurants, and stores in the Adirondacks and Canada, and they hope to expand into Vermont.
"The more dinner parties, the better responses I was getting, and the more people were saying to me, why aren't you selling them, why aren't you packaging these? You aren't marketing these. When I got to Montreal and I was like let's try it, it's such a fantastic market with all the restaurants," Rawitt said.
