If there is one word that characterizes the state of U.S. trade relations with China it is “uncertainty.”
Uncertainty over whether the tariff threats will be fully enacted. Uncertainty as to how deep and wide the looming trade war with China could extend. Uncertainty as to how it might impact the U.S. economy — and by extension Montana’s economy.
Regardless of which side of the political aisle U.S. business and governmental leaders sit upon, there is common agreement that uncertainty is bad for business.
