Combining the exquisite flowers and rich scent of Old World Roses with the repeat-flowering, disease resistance and wide colour range of Modern Roses, “English Shrub Roses” have become internationally renowned for their charm and fragrance. First launched onto the market 50 years ago, the collection of David Austin English Shrub Roses now numbers over 250 cultivars, rightfully taking their place among the world’s most popular roses.
Introduced in 1983, Troilus is highly recommended for its large attractive blooms and unusual creamy-buff colouring. It is well suited to our climate as it thrives in very warm conditions and is reliable and healthy.
Troilus produces classic pointed shaped buds, opening to a very full, flat rosette formation with a strong, sweet, myrrh fragrance. It grows into an even, upright bush 1.5m x 1.5m with attractive dark green foliage and good disease resistance.
