The company and Jones made the announcement in a joint statement issued Monday.
Jones is leaving New Horizons “in order to pursue other career goals and interests,” the statement said.
“During his tenure with New Horizons, Ron Jones has been instrumental in driving the growth of New Horizons by identifying new customers and applications as well as directing the expansion of our baking facilities to meet the increased demand of both existing and new customers for our products,” said Chief Executive Officer Tilmon F. Brown. “On behalf of the board of directors and our employees, we thank Ron for his leadership and wish him well.”
