Ending an eight-week shutdown, Lancaster Food Co. will resume production on Tuesday after raising $500,000 from nine investors.
Co-founder and CEO Charlie Crystle said Friday that the company is “very fortunate and grateful” for the chance to reopen its doors “and get back to what was a rapid growth rate.”
The small, certified organic-bread bakery, which has drawn national attention for its social mission, is set to resume deliveries Thursday.
