West Allis, WI – Dawn Food Products announced Tuesday, September 26, 2017 that Tamara’s the Cake Guru has been named the 2017 Sweetest Bakery in Wisconsin. “We are pleased to announce, all of Wisconsin, including your loyal customers have voted Tamara’s the Cake Guru the Sweetest Bakery in Wisconsin,” said Mike Manderfield from Dawn Food Products. Dawn Food Products presented a plaque to Tamara Mugerauer, owner of Tamara’s the Cake Guru at her bakery on Tuesday afternoon.
“We are so humble and proud to have been voted as the Sweetest Bakery in the state of Wisconsin,” said Mugerauer. “Thank you to all who voted for us. We love what we do. One of the many things we love so much about our little shop is we love that bakery is such a special part of so many celebrations. Tamara’s the Cake Guru participated in the nationwide contest for "The Sweetest Bakery in America" sponsored by Dawn Foods and received the highest number of votes in the state of Wisconsin. This contest ended on July 31, 2017. Lochel's Bakery in Hatboro, Pennsylvania won the overall contest and was named the 2017 Sweetest Bakery in America by Dawn Food Products.
Dawn Foods created the Sweetest Bakery in America Contest to help bakeries increase sales, improve customer loyalty, and promote local businesses in the community. Customers voted both online and in store from February 8 through July 31, 2017.
