Whole Foods Teams With Joan Nathan On High Holiday Dishes

Whole Foods Market’s Mid-Atlantic Region is partnering with James Beard Award-winning cookbook author Joan Nathan to offer prepared dishes and recipes for customers during the Jewish High Holidays.

The following five dishes from Nathan’s King Solomon’s Table cookbook will be featured at the hot bars, prepared food cases, and bakery departments of stores in Pennsylvania, Southern N.J., Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio, Sept. 13-27. They can also be ordered online:

  • Cod with Tomatoes, Plums, Apples, Onions, and Pine Nuts
  • Slightly Sweet and Sour Cabbage
  • Seven Sacred Species Salad with Wheat Berries, Barley, Olives, Figs, Dates, Grapes, and Pomegranate
  • Sweet and Crunchy Noodle Kugel
  • Tahina Cookies
