Rochester, MN — Stress Free Inc., owned by Diane and Peter Bakker, has been working for the past three months in order to provide this new website. It features a new gallery, online ordering, and simplified tracking to assist professional and amateur bakers alike in their quest to make the perfect cake.
Stress Free Cake Supports were invented by Vern and Arlene Haase in southeast South Dakota to solve a common cake-making problem: How do you create reliable supports for a cake with dowels without weakening the cake? Their answer: You don't. Vern created a simple system using stainless steel that was sturdy, food safe and dishwasher safe. Production started in 1999, and Arlene took all the orders in her home and mailed them herself.
It has been especially wonderful to continue the personal relationships with customers that mom and dad have established over the years.
In 2010, her daughter Diane and her husband Peter became the new owners, and are committed to providing the same level of quality and integrity that has made Stress Free Cake Supports the premier choice for cake decorators. To that end, the new website, StressFreeCakes.com, will make ordering easier without sacrificing the care and attention that Arlene gave to each and every customer.
"It's been so exciting to begin this new adventure," says Diane Bakker.
