A recently renovated building in a quiet corner of an industrial park now is home to product development for a $2 billion Michigan company.
This is where Dawn Foods, a third-generation food manufacturer that started with doughnuts and now offers 4,000 product lines in 57 countries, recently opened its first standalone research and development center.
With the company calling it the Innovation Studio, this space melds brainstorming and baking -along with both the art and science behind it – to bring advancements to Dawn Foods' share of the baking & ingredient industry.
