A Columbus marketer of Southern-style food now has a Southern owner.
Glory Foods Inc. has been acquired for an undisclosed sum by McCall Farms Inc., of Effingham, S.C.
Glory Foods President Jacqueline Neal said the owners of the 21-year-old private business were ready to cash out and turned to McCall, which had served as the company’s contract packager for its first 10 years in business.
“Consumers won’t notice a difference,” she said.
