Santa Monica Seafood Hires Senior Director Of Logistics

Rancho Dominguez, CA – Roger O’Brien, President and CEO of Santa Monica Seafood, announced that James Nissenberg has been hired as Senior Director of Logistics.  James will lead and manage the Logistics department for the Company and his duties will include all freight activity at all Company locations, managing the Company’s fleet program of approximately 75 trucks, and managing and developing approximately 95 drivers and other transportation support employees in 6 separate locations.

James Nissenberg obtained his BA from UCLA and his Masters in Transportation from MIT.  James is a Certified Supply Chain Professional and has completed professional development courses in systems and managerial finance.  He has 15+ years’ transportation and supply chain experience in a variety of industries, including grocery and food.

Roger O’Brien added, “Hiring James fills the only open position we’ve had in our Management Team and provides us a person with the knowledge and experience to provide leadership and strategic advice to implement our transportation and fleet strategy.”
