Sonoma, CA – Saint Benoît Creamery’s organic Meyer Lemon yogurt was recognized for its superior quality with a Silver Sofi Award in the Dairy, Yogurt, Dairy Alternative category by the Specialty Food Association earlier this year. The brand’s Meyer Lemon yogurt is creamy in taste and texture, naturally sweet from the organic Jersey whole milk, and includes bits of Meyer lemon zest at the bottom.
Uniquely, Saint Benoît Creamery’s yogurt is made solely from organic Jersey cow’s milk sourced from a single-family farm in Sonoma County’s Two Rock community. The cows that provide the key ingredient to the company’s yogurt roam outside year-round and feed from the pastures they graze on, providing the deliciously sweet, creamy taste of the yogurt.
The fruit spreads used in Saint Benoît’s yogurts are made from whole, locally-grown, tree-ripened organic fruit and handcrafted by a local farm as well. There is less sugar in these natural fruit preserves than in commercially-made jams, and the whole fruit is used, peel and all, which guarantees the freshest, tastiest product with the least amount of waste.
Relaunched earlier this year with a new logo and updated packaging graphics, Saint Benoit’s four flavors are available in a single-serve, 4.75-ounce recyclable glass jar: French Vanilla, Meyer Lemon, Strawberry, and Original, which are eye-catching and easily distinguishable on-shelf. Not only has the label on the glass jar been updated, but the foil lid is also different for each variety. Similarly, the 23-ounce family format is sold in a glass jar, but with a gold tone twist off lid, in three favorite flavors: French Vanilla, Meyer Lemon, and Original.
With cream on top and fruit at the bottom, Saint Benoît Creamery’s yogurt is pure and simple with no thickeners, stabilizers or preservatives: Just milk, culture, and fruit. These luscious yogurts can be found across the US in retailers such as Whole Foods Markets, Safeway, and Bristol Farms.
