NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Residents can now turn their old electronic items into money they can use at Harris Teeter grocery stores.
The store has partnered with Engaged Recycling to turn outdated electronics into usable gift cards.
"It is an online program to make it easy for customers to safely recycle their gently used electronics and earn money,” said Harris Teeter communications specialist Catherine Reuhl.
First, customers answer a series of questions and receive an estimate on the value of the electronic device they want to recycle.
