Gold’n Plump Enters Final Expansion Phase In Wisconsin

During the April 8 meeting of the Arcadia City Council, Bill Petz and Robert Rutschow were on hand to discuss the expansion of the Gold’n Plump production facility.

With this most recent project being the last phase of a four-year expansion for Gold’n Plump, Petz, the director of Arcadia Operations for the poultry company, made the aldermen aware that the two structural additions to the facility will greatly increase productivity.

“This will take production up to 970,000 birds a week,” he said.

Those two structures will be a 19,000-square foot addition where old County Road A used to be and a 4,800-square foot addition to the waste water building on the site.

The former building will be where inspection of birds will take place in preparation for chilling and the latter will be where birds will be received by the plant.
