An Iowa grocery chain is planning to open a specialty meat market in southeast Lincoln.
Fareway Stores, which like Hy-Vee is based in suburban Des Moines, plans to build a 6,500-square-foot full-service meat market at the Rockledge Square Shopping Center at 84th and Van Dorn streets.
The company said in a news release that construction will begin on the new store next month, and it is expected to be open by late fall.
