The Eastern Produce Council is proud to announce that on Saturday, April 8th, they will host their John J. McAleavey Annual Dinner Dance at The Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, NJ. The event has been renamed in memory of the Council’s longtime Executive Director (25 years), who passed away in June of 2015.
This year’s dinner honorees are longstanding EPC members who have recently retired following distinguished careers in the produce industry; Jim Allen, former President and CEO of the New York Apple Association, and Alfred Murray, an EPC board member and New Jersey’s former Assistant Secretary of Agriculture.
Also adding to the festivities of the night will be the addition of a new band, Steppin’ Out. The band has been entertaining around the tri-state area for over 11 years with a wide variety of music from past to present.
