Hy-Vee wants your business whether you’re dining in or out.
The supermarket operator is adding bar-and-restaurant combos to four stores in Omaha and one in Council Bluffs.
And Nebraska liquor license applications indicate that restaurants are on the way to three Hy-Vee stores in Lincoln, two in Norfolk and one each in Papillion and Grand Island, though Hy-Vee has not confirmed those locations.
The five Omaha-area dining spots, called Market Grille Express, are a new, casual concept for Hy-Vee, said a spokeswoman for the West Des Moines grocery chain.
