MILWAUKEE — McDonald's restaurants in the Milwaukee area just launched a very special menu ingredient, and soon the entire state will get to dig in.
Cheese curds, a Wisconsin delicacy if there ever was one, launched at all southeast Wisconsin locations Monday. It's a first for McDonalds, which is partnering with the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.
A spokesperson tells TODAY'S TMJ4 the curds are made with real Wisconsin cheese, and will be rolled out to every Wisconsin location across the state in four-ounce servings starting November 28.
