Cheesemakers at Shropshire’s leading foodie destination have their fingers crossed after being announced as finalists in the first-ever Great British Cheese Awards – in two different categories.
The dairy team at Ludlow Food Centre, in Bromfield, have been shortlisted to win in the Best Speciality Cheese Retailer and Best Artisan Cheese Producer categories, with the winners being announced at a glamorous awards ceremony in London on October 25.
Dudley Martin, Dairy Manager at Ludlow Food Centre, said: “I’m so thrilled that our hard work has paid off, and that we have been recognised as being among the nation’s best in two different categories.
