COLUMBUS – After a national search, DNO Produce has named Alan Hoover President and Chief Operating Officer.
Hoover will be responsible for driving the top and bottom line growth of the business, which is a leader in produce distribution in the Midwest.
“Alan has a successful track record of building and improving businesses,” said Tony DiNovo, founder and CEO of DNO, Inc. “He is a proven leader, product innovator, and a man of high integrity who brings over three decades of food and food packaging experience to our business. Alan brings a unique skill-set to DNO with his experience in sales and marketing as well as manufacturing and operations. He understands how to lead brand building efforts as well as how to drive productivity and continuous improvement efforts that will help take us to the next level.”
Hoover previously led strategic efforts at Jane’s Dough Foods, a division of Donatos. He also served as
President and Chief Operating Officer of Kahiki Foods and worked in leadership positions at Pressware
International and Sonoco Products Company. A resident of Dublin, OH, Hoover received his Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University and earned his Masters of Business Administration from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL.
