COOPERSVILLE — Officials with Continental Dairy Facilities in Coopersville said it only makes sense that they are adding butter to the list of products they manufacture in Coopersville.
Steve Cooper, Select Milk Producers president and general manager of dairy manufacturing operations, said the company will invest another $50 million in its milk-processing plant in order to produce butter and butter powder.
The move is expected to create 10 new full-time jobs. The company currently has roughly 100 full-time employees.
