Sopexa Consulting For Japanese Public Authorities On Promotion Of Japanese Food Products Worldwide

New York, NY – On 25 July 2016, Sopexa and the Japan External Trade Organization, JETRO, signed a cooperation agreement for the promotion of Japanese agricultural and food products around the globe. Under the agreement, Sopexa will provide support to promotional activities set up by JETRO, while driving international communications operations.

An autonomous public institution, JETRO helps to implement Japanese government policy for farm, forestry and food exports. As part of its activities, JETRO wishes to set up “large-scale, comprehensive promotional operations on international markets in order to raise shopper and consumer awareness of the quality of Japanese food products.”

It would thus like to adopt a collective approach by bringing together promotional events and actions, which have until now been organized individually by local authorities or companies.
