Gfresh Partners With Global Aquaculture Alliance To Promote Food Safety And Sustainability

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Gfresh, the world's largest online marketplace for live seafood, will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) at the 2016 Global Outlook on

As part of the agreement, Gfresh will promote seafood producers on its online marketplace that are certified as complying with Best Aquaculture Practices by GAA, thereby showcasing seafood sellers and products that adhere to strict food safety and sustainability criteria. GAA will in turn promote the Gfresh platform to its members. Together, the two organizations will work to promote sustainability and food safety practices in China and globally.

Gfresh's Vice President and Co-founder, Anthony Wan said, "This partnership with GAA is an important first step that will give Chinese buyers the ability to identify and source seafood that is certified and sustainable."
