But a sunflower is not always the yellow sunflower everybody knows: it is also available in orange, brown, cream and dark red. And there’s also plenty of variety when it comes to shape: there are sunflowers with large or small flowers, with a single row of petals or with multiple rings of petals.
Sunflowers are colourful and diverse. However, sunflowers also have a difficult side. They consume a lot of water and need to get fresh water on a regular base. Also they are very sensitive for pollution. It is best to put the sunflowers in Chrysal CVBN directly after harvesting.
