Loxahatchee, FL: J&J Family of Farms recently hired a proven leader, Bob Ziel, as its new Director of Food Safety and Social Responsibility.
Bob brings more than 30 years of Food Safety experience to J&J, having held key Food Safety roles with McEntire Produce, The Kraft Heinz Company and ConAgra Foods, among others in his career. His most recent role was Director of Food Safety for McEntire Produce. His experience includes multiple certifications including HAACP and Six Sigma Green Belt. Bob has been an active leader in the produce industry, including roles with the PMA, the United Fresh Technical Council and Center for Produce Safety.
Bob will report directly to the Chairman and CEO of J&J Family of Farms, Lynn Rundle and provide the hands on leadership that is required by this critical role.

We are implementing new processes to comply fully with the Food Safety Modernization Act and under Bob’s leadership we will be a cutting edge Food Safety organization.” said Rundle.

Bob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana and a Master’s Degree in Food Science from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Bob enjoys salt water fishing and serving his community through local outreach programs for the homeless and incarcerated.
