Chiquita Fresh North America LLC announces it will move its Gulf operations from New Orleans, Louisiana to Gulfport, Mississippi during this coming August 2016.
According to Chiquita President and CEO, Andrew Biles, “We are pleased to return our port operations to Gulfport where our Chiquita ripening and distribution facilities are located.
We believe that Gulfport is optimally situated to service our customers most efficiently with both North and Southbound vessel services.”
Chiquita Fresh North America, LLC is a distributor and marketer of fresh bananas and pineapples under the Chiquita brand label.
