Honolulu-based Southern Food Groups LLC has been awarded an $8.5 million defense contract to supply fresh dairy and juice items.
The company competed against one other business for the three-year contract. The supply locations include Hawaii and the Mainland, and deliveries are expected to continue through June 8, 2019.
Southern Foods Group will supply the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and non-U.S. Department of Defense ships.
