Apex Introduces Breakthrough Self-Serve Technology For QSR, FSR And Hospitality Venues

CHICAGO – Apex Supply Chain Technologies®, a global leader in automated dispensing systems, has introduced two-sided AnyWhere™ Self-Serve lockers for restaurants and hospitality venues to better serve today’s busy customer. The two-sided lockers help food service providers gain operational efficiencies while providing a takeout experience that will bring customers back time and again.

“With Apex AnyWhere two-sided lockers, we’re revolutionizing the order ahead and pick up experience for both customers and restaurant staff,” said Kent Savage, Apex founder and CEO.

“Customers can order and pay via the ecommerce platform, and staff can load the lockers without leaving the food prep area. Customers can then skip past the line, pick up their food and be on their way with no waiting. It’s the better way to do take-out.”

The AnyWhere two-sided lockers are ideal for any venue looking to provide food to order and pick-up/take-away. These purpose-built lockers accommodate virtually any type of food or drink, both hot and cold. The sleek, modular design allows the lockers to fit on a counter at a quick serve or fast casual restaurant, or be constructed into a wall at stadiums, concert halls and arenas. The two-sided design results in significant workflow efficiencies allowing food service staff to easily load from the rear, and customers to pick up from the front.

AnyWhere two-sided lockers enable a wide range of scenarios to make take-away orders work across multiple channels. For example, a customer will use a smart phone to place a food or drink order. The order is prepared and placed into the insulated Apex AnyWhere locker, and the customer receives a text message, email or push notification that their order is ready. Locker compartments can also be heated or cooled. When the customer arrives, she can skip the line, scan the QR code on the locker, grab the order and be on her way.

Cloud-Based Enterprise Software

The Apex Trajectory™ Cloud software is the brains behind the device, and serves as a single, secure, unified transaction platform. Trajectory integrates with POS, mobile app, digital ordering and inventory management systems. It provides real-time data, so restaurant staff always know when orders are placed, delivered, track delivery dwell time and know when they’ve been picked up. Managers can also view digital reports from Trajectory to show long-term buying behaviors, trends and loyalty preferences.

AnyWhere two-sided lockers are the newest breakthrough innovation from Apex Supply Chain Technologies. Apex has deployed more than 70,000 devices worldwide, conducting millions of transactions every day.
